Our lab invited Prof. Makoto Kaneko from Osaka University to give a special lecture with the title of 「Beyond Human Robots」 on November 21, 2018. During the lecture, Prof. Kaneko introduced a couple of robots that can exceed human capability in speed, accuracy and patience by videos. |

Abstract：Robot and human have their own fields of expertise. For example, robots are good at achieving high speed, accurate motion, and endurance compared with those of human, while human are even more dexterous than current robots. By focusing on speed, a couple of robots that can exceed human capability will be introduced by using video demonstration. Further, an example of a nice collaboration between human and robot will be also introduced, especially in medical field where the success rate in operation has dramatically increased. |
