Our lab invited Prof. Satoshi Tadokoro, Graduate school of Information Science and Technology, Tohoku University, to give a special lecture on December 3, 2012. Before the special lecture, Prof. Tadokoro visited our lab, and had the academic exchanges with us. Each group in our lab introduced their research results and got a lot of valuable advices from Prof. Tadokoro. |

Title: 「Application of the rescue robots for the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant』

Abstract: The technology of rescue robots causes technology innovation in the fields of Robotics and Mechatronics, and is expected to be applied widely in the field of a fusion of life and medical engineering. In this lecture, to focus on the application for the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant and the East Japan earthquake, the forefront of research and development of the rescue robots was introduced with videos.
