Organizing 2013 ICME International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering |

2013 ICME International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering (“ICME CME 2013” for short) was host by our department and Beijing Institute of Technology which has the academic exchange agreement with our department, from May 25 to May 28, 2013. The conference was held successfully in Beijing Friendship Hotel, Beijing, China. There are 170 people attending the conference. The conference got support from IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, The Robotics Society of Japan and The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers and so on. There are 214 papers from 18 countries, 144 papers adopted as Full Paper and the acceptance rate is 68%. Prof. Shuxiang Guo, General Chair, from Faculty of Engineering, Kagawa University, Prof. Tetsuo Touge, Program Chair, from Faculty of Medicine, Kagawa University and 6 members from Faculty of Medicine including Prof. Tamiya Takashi attended the conference. Prof. Tamiya Takashi gave a special lecture during the conference. |

The administrative committee of 2013 CME International Conference admitted by IEEE is placed in Faculty of Engineering, Kagawa University. 2013 CME International Conference, run by Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine, is working on the Collaborative Research Projects between medicine and engineering. The academic exchange and international contributions of Kagawa University are expected. |
